Sent to Coventry City Council less than a minute later

i am not impacted directly by this property however i dont live very far away and suffer from a neighbouring property in a similar condition. empty properties at the council seem pretty incompetent. we found another point of contact outside the council, i will try to dig out the details and post them here. perhaps you will have more luck there. they seem to be acting on our problem more pro-actively than the council, but time will tell.

hello again also fed up HE HAS BEEN FORCED TO SELL NO 3 Bedford STREET ROUND THE CORNER ANd THE COUNCIL HAS BEEN WORKING FOR SOME MONTHS ON PUTTING AN IMPROVEMENT ORDER FOR NUMBER 42 bedford street but it just seems to take an eternity and in the meantime the neighbours suffer. the council seem to think it would weaken their case in court to tackle hum on more than one preoerty at a time. i would like to know when the case is and go along and lobby and raise the concerns of all the neighbours, in our society we always seem to be appeasing the lowest common denominator , very stupid, no proper standards of behaviour are enforced any more. please post any useful info you may have

my mistake, the 'other' people we contacted work for the council also, but its a different department. it cant hurt to have more than one department working on the same problem. the phone number is 02476 831415 and its the 'planning enforcement' department. good luck.

do you have aname in planning enforcement ?

i dont see what they can do really as there is no plananing issue it is the empty proeprties officer that shoudl eb doing something

he seems to think that is is unfair to pressure chapman by asking him to sort out 2 proeprties!! more unfair than the neighbours having to suffer this empty property for at least the last ten years!!?? what do we pay out taxes for and why does chapman get off the hook all the time?
