This property is known to Norwich City Council but thank you for reporting it. As a result I decided to take another look at the site. It is as described, rather shabby. Near neighbours provided some feedback confirming that the site is used occasionally by persons they believed could be squaters residing in a caravan on the site. The property they thought is by now uninhabitable. The squaters had not been a concern and in fact might even have made the site more secure. A check has been made with the planning department and the owner of the site has had one application refused. A fresh application is imminent I understand after a conversation with the owners agent. From an empty homes point of view this one executive but very down at heel property does not score highly on the council's assesment criteria and as a result is not a priority issue. If however the the situation changes and the site becomes problematic then this may well change.
